I'm a brand identity and website designer helping established businesses build brands that are as intentional as the work they do.
Let’s go back to 2020. I was freelancing while working other jobs, but I wasn’t sure whether it would be a viable option for my future. I thought I needed to do what everyone else was doing - get a job in the city, work for a large company for a few years, and THEN start my own business.
When the world stood still during the pandemic, things changed. I felt powerless, especially with so many of my original plans falling through.
It was at this balancing point that I decided to take my life path back into my own hands. The dream I had been too scared to take a step towards, and that people doubted I’d be able to do, I now leaped at. (Cue the “I’ll show you” statements.)
Oh, and while I was at it? I also became President of the Peoria Women's Club – founded in 1886 and one of the nation's oldest women's organizations – and Vice President of the Peoria Heights Chamber of Commerce. Apparently once you stop shrinking, it's hard to stop showing up.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, and fall is my favorite season (I know, shocker).
I love murder mystery novels. In fact, I have the entire collection of Agatha Christie books.
My go-to liquor is whiskey. Love when it is accompanied by a ginger ale.
LOTR and Star Wars are my go-to movie series on a rainy day or stuck in bed sick.
EQBM is short for Equilibrium, i.e. a state in which opposing forces, or influences, are balanced.
I believe that true transformation is brought about by discomfort, that you have to push yourself to bring about real change. It’s when you reach that balancing point, or equilibrium, between where you have been and where you have yet to go, that you find your truth path.
