Eliza started her consulting business after years in the education industry. She came to me looking for help with developing an identity and website that she could use to convey professionalism while still remaining true to her, so that she could apply for projects with schools, districts, and organizations.
The inspiration for this brand came from Eliza's unique perspective on how lasting change should be created. She believes in rooting everything in practice, i.e. data instead of theory.
This inspired the icon, which references the kind of data you might see on a bar graph or plotted report, paying homage to her background in research and published work. Those three dots trace her client’s journey: beginning with strong ideas, experiencing dips and detours along the way, and ultimately arriving at success. Together, they resolve into a single, subtle checkmark.
While Eliza primarily works digitally, we wanted to create a physical element to her website and brand that was rooted in her experience and paid homage to where she came from. I created a series of icons that represented research and educatino, from folders to clipboards to tacks to sticky notes and more.
Eliza now has a cohesive brand and website that she can use to communicate with potential clients, centralize her professional iinformation, and, most importantly, confidently submit her services for influential proposals with great impact.
